I am pretty excited and anxious… a bit nervous to be honest, as I embark on a new form of peer group leadership this March (2023).
A little over a year ago I joined a group of like minded professionals on an 8 week journey that changed something inside me and I don’t think is done. For 8 weeks, every week we met for an hour. We talked, watch a video and discussed the key points and how that may impact our lives or how we can apply what we learned or be more intent in our businesses based on what we learned from the examples of great business owners in the video.
This impacted me so deep, on some occasions I got overjoyed, and others, I will admit, I cried, I was overwhelmed and if you know me, you know I hide my emotions pretty well, we don’t discuss our hard times, as others are suffering much more. It was an extremely stressful time in my life. Lockdowns and restrictions were still rampant in most of the world, certainly in Canada for now 2+ years. Also, I had helped several entrepreneurs grow and scale their businesses successfully, and in return I was not compensated for my work, as their greed overcame their gratitude (an contractual obligations), and was a very real point where an investment, a very significant loan I provided for a company, was in serious jeopardy as we (still) battle through legal channels to regain. You can only imagine the financial and personal stress I was experiencing at that time.
These FDE Foundation Peer Group Weekly Sessions Were Invaluable to me.
I don’t remember how I found Faith Driven Entrepreneur or the peer group. But I can say I have had incredible life changing experiences and made some amazing friends from all over the world from that first group. Thanks to an amazing host, I felt stronger each week. I got direction, instruction, deeper relationships with the peer group and with my Faith, and the CEO of my life.
I have been part of another monthly group for nearly a year now and I can tell you, I can’t wait for our group sessions. I miss them every month and I learn from them always. Some of us have made incredible connections beyond our group and I am grateful for all of them. Some of us are helping each other grow our business. It’s a thing… its a movement… its powerful.
That is why I am now hosting a Faith Driven Entrepreneur 8-week Foundation Group, starting March 31, 2023, at 10am every week. We meet for one hour each week to learn, share and grow our businesses together but apart.
