BOTS ARE THE NEXT BIG THING!

Yup, the bots are coming.  Totally makes me think of Skynet the way this stuff works.  Its so cool.

Bots aren't AI, but you might think they are.  Sometimes.  Other times they are pretty useless.  It really depends who designed them, what their intention was and whether or not full disclosure is provided.

What I mean by full disclosure?

Its pretty simple.  If the developer misleads you pretending that its a real person or some sort of artificial intelligence, then you are going to be left frustrated and quite possibly pissed off.

On the other hand, if they clearly tell you upfront that it's just a "bot" and not a real person you won't be left disappointed and hoping for so much more.

CONSIDER THIS...

Around 2002 there were a slew of people turning millionaires with the help of email marketing.  If you missed that one, then you may have caught video marketing.
